The Bargain of a Lifetime

And here we are—adopting our fourth greyhound! This time, we found our newest family member through Bridging the Gap (AKA Angela!).

Over the years, we’ve had four incredible greyhounds—three beautiful females and now our first male, Ratha, who has joined our home alongside our third female, Jemma.

Through Angela, we connected with Ratha’s foster carer and arranged a meet-and-greet. How did it go? Fabulously. I’ve never met a greyhound with a mean bone in their body (I don’t think such a thing exists!), but Ratha was—and still is—something extra special. The four of us just fit together so perfectly, so adopting him was an easy decision.

When we picked up Ratha, we were provided with everything we needed—collar, lead, food, bedding, coat, toys—you name it! Then came the big question: How much was all of this?

For that, we got a loving, beautiful companion who will bring us years of joy, along with the satisfaction of knowing we’ve given this wonderful dog the retirement he deserves.
